Hi All,
Has anyone who has gone for doors on their build fitted fuel lines to run down the side of the chassis just below the door openings instead of down the already crowded tunnel. Also which outlet on the master cylinder does the rear brake line attach to the front or back or does it not matter.

Hi Mike, Yes I ran my fuel lines down the left of the car (nearside) below the doors and connected the rear line to the back of the master cylinder!

Did you place the fuel pipes mid point between the door cut out and the bottom of the chassis side rail.

Yes roughly but did not measure it as when the body is on you can't see them at all

I did the same. I ran the pipes inside a plastic tube to give them a little protection. The body fits fine with them approx. half way down the sheet.

Yeah I was going to go the split tubing way but decided to shell out and bought 10 bar high pressure stainless fuel hose instead, no protection needed now and looks the dogs

The only area that is still worryinh me is running the pipes through the front wheel arches as they will be exposed to stoners etc being thrown up by the wheels.

Looked at the Marlin demo car. They have liners front and back to stop this. It's attached the the side sections front and back.

I had concerns over the elements causing damage, mine are also run through flexi tube, and gromets into the front inner wings.

Ditto the above - 10 bar fuel hose (8mm ID) with flexi loom containing plastic tube over the top near the wheels.
