Surely, a printer could produce better quality faces on black vinyl using the image files on the link you shared that will be better than anything you could print onto paper?

So on the back straight now.
I bolted on the fixed seat belt but when I tried it, it was choking me so I had to move it. This means a second carpet plug which is not ideal. I will redo the carpet in the winter using this one as a template but will do for the summer.

While I was hoovering the carpet before fitting the seats, a worker drone was fitting a horn button and replacing the steering column shrouds. I think his mouth was open to catch the screws if they fell out?

As you see the new steering wheel is on. and the drivers seat bolted through the floor with anchor plates on the underneath. I have replaced the charcoal coloured Rover 75 seats with grey piping for these all black ones as they match better.

I'm at Wheels day tomorrow (Good Friday) but the interior will be finished on Saturday and the final pics posted. I will give a list of parts and prices to see if I've kept the figure under my £400 target.

I can see similarities with the real interior but most importantly - it doesn't look anything like a Z3 anymore. And I know having seen some of it in real life the pics do not do it any justice - already told you, it looks the bollocks

It would not fool a Ferrari anorak but does the job.
Mainly it showed you do not have to sent thousands to get a decent interior.

I would not do that at the moment you will get very wet!

I spent the day wiring up Scott's Kalifornia.

In between the rain showers I got a few more pictures of the finished interior.

I have the same Springalex wheel for mine, was well pleased how nice it was made.

This was the one I bought from good old e-bay £125.00 plus i think about £7.00 postage, the boss was around £29.95

I saw that, but my one had a lovely machined centre in brushed alloy and the Ferrari badge for the same money. Just wanted to make sure I was not ripped off, thanks.
