Do like the rear trimming, very good idea and looks very well done. Details like this make all the difference.

I've had the boot trimmed/carpeted out as well. I'm back home 1st Sept and have 3 people due to view it so hopefully it will sell and I can order a Kobra kit!

Nice Danny, can you post some pics when you've down the H gate.
5 Sep 2014, 5:29pm
Danny, how did you get on? did the people you had lined up bite your hand off? did you get the other pictures done of the new boot lining and completed H gate?
5 Sep 2014, 9:19pm
Still not sold. Il take some pics tomorrow, think im going to call
it a day with the H gate as its causing me too much chew!

It's a great looking car and if it weren't for the fact I would miss the pleasure/pain of building it for myself I would be certainly be interested.

The side repeators you have can I ask where did you get them from?

Thanks, Ian

I got the side repeaters from ebay. They where a small fortune but i think worth it! I think they were listed as maseratti side repeaters.

Nightshift at work produced a few of these....
11 Sep 2014, 7:15pm
They're very nice. That was a difficult shift ;-)
11 Sep 2014, 7:55pm
Nightshift this week. In my opinion nightshift is for either sleeping or doing your own little jobs...
11 Sep 2014, 9:45pm
Haha, true. Nights are a miserable time to be in work

Danny can I ask what square lights you used? are they just hooked up as fog lights? apologies for the question I just can't see it in the thread or the pictures.

Thanks, Ian
12 Sep 2014, 12:14pm
Ian, the square 1s at the bottom are just reflectors. my fog light is hidden out the way, mounted just underneith on a hinge, it got hinged down for the MOT and hinged up ever since! I never botherd with a reverse light either as its not an MOT requirement.

Gear rubber with chrome ring....

24 Dec 2014, 6:30pm
Hi Danny,

I hope the Cobra is coming on well - looking great so far! Your rubber gaiter and chrome surround can I ask where they are from?

Cheers, Ian

Think its a moris minor 1, however im not using that after geting a ferrari H gate from chris to make a copy from. Think it was about £15 if you want it and i can send you it.

Ummmm H-gate? So you still have your 250 then? I tell you what if you can figure out the required H-gate dimensions that will look great in your car.
