Front end wired up will be driving it soon. Still no wheel adapters tracking states with Uk customs, how long does it take to frisk a set of adapters, may have to pay duty to get them.
Good progress Tony. Tell us when you have sussed the bonnet hinges I am on the mk 4 version.....
Adapters arrived £60 later, bloody VAT. They are 18mm thick so and will bolt stright on to the 30mm spacers I have, the fronts I may get away with only the adapters are for bolts not studs. A bit of playing required.
Think you have a camera watching my drive Chris, [url]www.42draftdesigns.com[/url] based in the USA £270 delivered, plus £60 tax, only 18mm thick clever bit of engerneering, using alloy and a kidney dish shaped steel piece (4x100 - 5x108 nobody in the uk would do this), other companies also in us offered a split adapter that was 50mm thick, at around the same price, but too big to go on the front of the kit, still need adapters though 20mm for the front, may have to get thinner tyres though, but it fits the period look, none of that big modern wheel look with elastic bands around for tyres.
I may well have the only Mx 5 fitted with Ferrari wheels in the world, now I know why, still they are on now and looking good, quite a bit of work though, love how the rears look.
Good going Tony. What is the black strip that you have fastened to? Also I have found the top of the black chamber touches by bonnet, and I have had to lower that a bit too.
Black strip is the inner wing supplied by Chris, black chamber? only problem I had with the front was headlight buckets getting in the way, cut more metal away and it was sorted.

The next day the bonding stuff was still tacky and soft, balsted it with a heat gun it went liquid again and oozed from the joint, its now rock solid, wiped off the snow to give it a quick sand.
Maybe as mines an import but we are all a bit different.
We have found a few differences between the years and UK vs import on the MX5, mostly on the induction/injection. I have been told that the "black chamber" holds an excess of petrol that prevents fuel starvation during hard cornering.
