My progress has also been quite slow as I am fixing things after "help" by some friends.
Good idea to get the interior finished first. Mush easier than doing it later (as I must do).
Working out what to put where on the dash and centre console is causing me some headaches. I am going to put the electric seat switches behind the handbrake and hide some switches in an ashtray. Double din head unit looks great but. It at all in period so may try and conceal it.
All part of the fun in building a car 😁👍
Less chance of a leak with only one join plus it will all look the same and be uniform.

I'm building a Tribute 250 SWB Coupe. Received the flocked bulb seal from CBS today. Slow build as I'm correction some "friends" help! Jeff H was spot-on with his advice too.

Weather cleared, managed to get my small bonnet mould finished and make a part. A little left to do on it. Fit is now perfect.

Small update
Cutout for the Grassbank rear window made (nice). Previously bonded parcel shelf removed. New pattern begun.
Side fender vent slots cut out. Getting there.
Last few days grinding/sanding/lots of Acetone & paper towels
removing the bed liner spray my "friends" coated inside the entire body. More needed too.
Preparation prior to bonding the frame channels to accept the very nice Grassbank rear window.
Thank you for the pics, that is sure a good mod to make. Does the window fit with a rubber like the MGB window or is it bonded ? I note you mention frame channels so I take it they bond to the inside for the window to sit in to.
Yes, there are inner frame channels that are bonded to the body.
The window is "Captured" by studs on the stainless outer trim which go between the window and the body, bolted to the frame channels. No holes to drill. Very well thought out.
That is why the cutout is slightly larger than the window.
Thanks for the extra info on the window. This build is looking great now and recovering well from your initial setbacks.
Still dealing with previous setbacks but making slow progress.
Looks like I'll have to cut the door skins again to get the side window frames installed. Just more stuff to do!
after taking the side window frames apart for powder coating (chrome), upon reassembly there is one frame screw that is a pan-head and longer than the smaller inner to outer frame screws.
I had it marked "center" but don't remember if it was top or bottom.
Does anyone know? Installing the drivers side window today.
