hi towed no woodbridge airfield ,was a great day cars run well barry was doing same times as a 911 he was going well just one prob on the way home i stop for fuel top up hit the road 4 miles up the road the car stop like a twat i had put diesel in ....got home 930 long old day ....but fix it to day and now run in fine again .....how you doing engine back in ....mike there was some great racing cars we had just as much fun as them
Bad luck with the diesel episode Phil, hope it hasn't done any permanent damage.
My engine's still out I'm afraid. I'm waiting for front suspension parts to arrive - 150lb Spitfire springs, faster geared Spitfire steering rack and 7/8" arb - as it'll be much easier to fit them with the engine out of the way. I'm also off work with a bad back at the mo' so I might have to give you a call in a few days to lend a hand hoisting the motor back in...
Woodbridge looked like a good day out, despite the later than intended finish. Abandoned airfields make great race circuits, don't they.
