It uses an original Taxi chassis, steering, transmission (shortened prop), rear axle and new suspension so just avoided the IVA on points.
The compass has been hanging around so I thought I would use it. The GPS speedo has a built in compass with current bearing or heading so I should'nt get lost on my way to the MOT station !!
I was very surprized at the insurance cost!, Fully comprehensive, with all the mods plus buy back and agreed value under £200!!
This is the latest "project" out of the workshop
SIVA RACEABOUT body conversion.
It's one of Neville Tricket Edwardian's designs from the 70's.
This is one of 6 built, 1 scraped, 3 exported, 2 left!!!
The other RACEABOUT, reg 2375 UN was my first serious project 20+ years ago and it's still on-the-road today!!
There was a kit of parts on ebay earlier this year for a Siva, was this the one ?
Are you planning to make an engine cover of some sort to finish the rear end ?
