The car looks amazing. I really like the whole concept of a classic with a modern twist, also, the details like the reshaping of the doors.

One detail question - what did you do regarding wheel badges? I assume they no longer say BMW?
21 Apr 2015, 6:19pm
The new center cap badges have the ac logo on, I also have a boot and bonet badge which I had sprayed matt black. They will be put on after Ive had the black stripes put through.

Heres a nice photo from the Spanish mountains...

ive got 458 full body conversion kit car, mirrors ,defuser rear, hopefully fitting will be easy and on toyota celica gen7 , im after a good company to make me wheel spacers for front and rear if any one can help, thanks

I never used spacers on my cobra, just wider wheels. The spacers on my MX250 where from a company in USA as they where cheaper than what a friend of mine could engineer them for me however I ended up paying inport tax so it would of worked out the same.

spacers

www.42draftdesigns.com over in the states they made mine as they were split to go from 4 x 100 (mx 5) to 5 x108 (ferrari) I had three quotes all from the us all around the same price, I chose them because they were very specific about the measurements, they are alloy, all three companies warned against having spacers made in China most of which seemed to made of steel.

Rather annoying problem with the drivers seat....

Every time i break the seat slides forward a bit and the seatbelt goes nice and tight around my neck!

Ive had a mes around had the seat out and back in and everything is tight but it still does it! Any suggestions?
10 Aug 2015, 3:41pm
Or put your seat hard against the rear bulkhead to it is already pushed forwards.

Depends how long your legs are

Think there is a dutch guy that sells the seat bush kit

Thanks i'll get some ordered. Just finishing a few last bits and bobs and put it up for sale

Back home now for a few weeks and while i was away the parts came to fix the seat. Sorted that no bother only took about an hour.

Got another thing niggling me now, the fuel cap.
It used to shut perfectly square with the body work and now it seems to sit in a couple of mm which has chipped the paint slightly!...

It does look like it sits right from a distance though...

Im going to have to glue somthing to stop it going further onthe under side. Is there anything other than sticka flex that i can use? Its about €20 a tube here and i dont wana just use it for this little bit then the next time i come to use the tube has gone off!

Think she needs a wash aswell, been left to sit in the sun for weeks!....

Spent the day doing some finishing touches to the kobra.....

Wheel center caps (mind the rusty disks, its been sat for the last 4 weeks!)....

Steering wheel badge...

Rear boot badge...

Exhaust extended....
