The new double build overseas (Germany)

See bottom left corner thats what I was trying to smothe out. First pic left front corner has a right angle between the indicator and the round vent,

yes i cut the subframe left and right
after removing the parts, there was40 mm more free space to bring the front more down.



The mk1 build is al little bit more easy, i think:eusa_doh:

Today I got my MX brought to the painting.
Now I have to wait 2 weeks.
The are 2 long weeks.
Then I have another 2 weeks to finish it, bevore I'll get on the journey to Dorset:razz:

Hi all,
Our two cars are still in the paint shop.
Irfan has wasted no time.
In the meantime, he has finished building the new private workshop.
I envy him for such a little:madgrin:

i got my baby back from the paint job :icon_smile: :icon_smile: :icon_smile:





Now I still have enough time, only one or two days working in Switzerland at the Lake Constance and then finally weekend and time to build
Le mans stripes, racing numbers, new bucket seats and cute little accessories.

I am happy with my growing tribute to the sixties

Looking at the straight line reflections of the flourescent lights shows how well the preparation has been done.

strip's around the front and back, Inserts for the Front (honeycomb style)
Shorter Springs with 25mm drop in the front only. External battery disconnect switch with red handle and so on
A permanent building process:roll:

Tomorrow we pick Irfan's MX from the painter.
I'm curious to seeit his red finish is top class

They both look fabulous. I can't help thinking you guys need a blue one now to recreate some famous scenes from The Italian Job.
