Still not happy, have a few hours free now but dreading going into the garage in case I can't fix the problem :(
I always have plan C which is completely remove the hinges and fix with four bonnet pins. This is a route I don't want to take as I like the idea of hidden hinges.
On the upside maybe the car fairies visited during the night and fixed it?

DISASTER FRICKIN DISASTER

Decided today it was time to re attach the bonnet , wanted to make it a much better fit than before . Well long story short it's not on. In fact the car is in less state of assembled now than it was . I am not a happy bunny.

Any pics Drum

Sometimes it's best to walk away and come back another day. Well done! Go and have that pint.

Now that my engine and bonnet is back together with all new heat shields I have a front strut brace I no longer need . It has a carbon effect too it. Before I stick it on eBay are there any MX owners who would like it£20 ?
Could deliver to stoneliegh if you don't fancy postage or why not take a drive out?

Well. It only seems to be working :) just took a look and the corner is defiantly better than it was

I thought there would be a rush for the brace so I sat back.
I'll definitely have it.
Please bring to Stoneleigh and it will save you wrapping and posting.

Yes , very easy
They are fibreglass buckets, flip them upside down measure and drill 4 holes, bolt to the runners with countersuck machine screws.

Then fit the padded covers.
They are very light compared to other aftermarket seats

The only issue I have with ALL seats is me, at 6ft 6 and over 18 stone I'm quite limited to what fits. Hence the other seats(which I loved) weren't for me :(
6 Mar 2016, 12:34am
im only 6ft but wee weigh the same
The driving position will have your head behind the screen
6 Mar 2016, 8:50am
Could you send me a couple of pics of them fitted to your car?like to see how much space there is around the edges
Thank you
