Still not happy, have a few hours free now but dreading going into the garage in case I can't fix the problem
I always have plan C which is completely remove the hinges and fix with four bonnet pins. This is a route I don't want to take as I like the idea of hidden hinges.
On the upside maybe the car fairies visited during the night and fixed it?

Now that my engine and bonnet is back together with all new heat shields I have a front strut brace I no longer need . It has a carbon effect too it. Before I stick it on eBay are there any MX owners who would like it£20 ?

Well. It only seems to be working just took a look and the corner is defiantly better than it was

New seats arrived today, look great.
Spent several hours making brackets so I could use the Mazda runners 3 hrs later trial fitted one of them, too feckin big!!
The seat fits but I don't, it sits too high
I'm gutted

Trim panels arrived back today, very pleased with how they look. Hopefully get them fitted tomorrow

I used these - flatlands also sells them with different style covers.
Very comfortable and look the part

Yes , very easy
They are fibreglass buckets, flip them upside down measure and drill 4 holes, bolt to the runners with countersuck machine screws.

Then fit the padded covers.
They are very light compared to other aftermarket seats

The only issue I have with ALL seats is me, at 6ft 6 and over 18 stone I'm quite limited to what fits. Hence the other seats(which I loved) weren't for me

im only 6ft but wee weigh the same
The driving position will have your head behind the screen
