Yep that's more like it. The mini front had a more vertical angle than the swb, that's what i was looking at along with a more curvy grill. Funny how things can get lost in translation . Also with a 1275 gt clubman front it would look like an early ford mustang with a curvier behind. Not saying i want one but nice to be able to see if it works
A Wolseley hornet with a Mini Clubman front has also been done.

Thing is "some say" that the best looking cars have an aggressive front end with a curvy pert rear. Bit like saying Ferrari 430 front with say the more sedate back end of the 599. But each to their own.
I think the f12 is a good example of this. Ferrari 250 gtc looks nice. V12.

Physco killer looking women with cute behinds not my thing. :-) 250 Europa comes to mind has the hardtop with sloping back

Both Chaparral and Citroen DS are amongst my favourite cars but I've not heard of a Chaparral DS. Can you post a pic?
I,ve never seen a Chaparral DS but I have seen a couple of DS 911,s.

I built something like that once by welding two mini subframes together. It didn't have a body though.

There was a kit available in the 80's made of GRP, one came up on eBay a while ago but I seem to remember it having an asking price of around £40k
