Love the steering wheel, nice and high and is that the placement for the guages?

Looking very nice Zeb, how long before you take to the road?

Good to have you back with your interesting build! Wheels and gauges look great and your bonnet fits well now. What's next?

Thanks a lot !

To answer, I've take RV for the paint this next spring.

Now, I have to create new hindges for the bonnet because the old ones was not good in fact. I've find some steal part at my job to built them.

I would like to built also the dashbord next WE.

Sebastien - Good to see some updates from your build, it looks very good.

Did you have to modify the bonnet to make it fit?

It looks like the original 2CV Sammio bonnet had a hole & "bulge" in it..

Bon Chance, Paul. :)

Hey Sabastien,

Looks really very nice! Can you manage to mount the airflter without making the bonnet scoop? Would make things easier - that's for sure..
Your bonnet seems to fit quite good - that gives me some hope it will fit nice on mine as well.
Like your wheels very much. I was sure to put on wire wheels from MWS but now that I see this, I'm having doubts as your wheels look great and are cheaper and lighter as wire wheels.
I'm also making progress - you will see it on my update - hopefully today.

Lot of thanks,

I will have to modifiy the bonnet because my carburator is not in place actually and I dont have the place for him under the bonnet.

At the beginning I wanted to fit wire wheels but I was desapointed when I have seen the cost, arond 1300 - 1500 euros for 4 wheels with adaptators. Wy wheels come from another kit for the same donor citroen 2cv : burton company. The cost in around 530 euros for 4 wheels without pneumatics, same size that the original 2cv spare.

Yep, I had that droopy cockpit edge on one side too -

I built up the difference with filler and it's held for more than two years with no problems -

I do like what you're using as a grille, what's its origin? It looks like it might have been a towel rail or similar.

Sebastien - Thanks for the update.

Your grille is going to look great when it is finished.

Good luck, Paul. :)

Very neat!
I just had to think-of and manufacture a grill for my Miglia and i wish I'd seen your solution earlier as even though I'm happy with what I've got, i've now got more ideas :)

Is it a trivet?

That is a very neat idea and if it's off the shelf then its even better, saves a lot of hard work.

Its good see things being used from other purposes.

White seats and no doors. I can see them getting very grubby very quickly.
