Brilliant - who did the paint work Danny? I live near York so Hartlepool isn't too far to get a paint job.

ColourTech in Stockton, id recomend their work to anyone. he built that ford rs2000 that tribute took the moulds from and build a ferrari 360 replica for me. top jobs and perfect finnish all the time.

I can vouch for the paint on the RS200 being a good job.

The contrast between the CLS, the Regal and the MX250 must make for interesting driving experiences!
27 Oct 2013, 3:14pm
and the truth.... the regal is the best to drive! its great when you fear for your life as you go too fast towards a roundabout!

Sounds like my truck driving through the rain to Exeter yesterday. Drifting into roundabouts like a banzai Jap on a youTube video ;-)

just back from work with 4 weeks off to put the finishing touches on car, il start with sticking this on the rear screen...
25 Nov 2013, 12:38pm

If any of you have these wing mirrors....

can you see anything out of them? i think mine are just for show!
25 Nov 2013, 5:19pm
It's looking great. Same with the mirrors, only trial fitted but they don't show much.
25 Nov 2013, 6:52pm
yeah to be honnest they not worth even looking in! still they look nice though! hopefully get my alloys and exhaust fitted 2 moro and the reminder of the grill/mesh. then it will be on with the interior.
25 Nov 2013, 9:46pm
Someone else fitted these to a Herald and had the same problem. So they got some convex glass replacements.
25 Nov 2013, 9:59pm
I have something similar fitted. After loads of trial fits all over the car they were completely useless anywhere I mounted them on the body, so I ended up making some alloy towers for them to sit on.

I now have some view to the side/rear, but the real issue is that they're just a bit small compared to what's provided by modern manufacturers these days. You wouldn't want a fecking great big door mirror on your 250 though, would you...

not a very good day, the bolts for the wheels spacers foul the back of the hub on the rear. looks like the hubs will have to come off and get drilled and tapped!
26 Nov 2013, 3:22pm
the rear hubs are off now WCA and will be droped off in the morning to get drilled and taped. ive been P!$$3d off with it all morning so went in a mood with myself and took the hubs off completly!

front 1s went on ok though!

exhauste will be on tomorow and then it will be in for an MOT early next week to check alignment of the front lights before i fit the lenses.
26 Nov 2013, 10:28pm
Any significance in the 52 Danny?
27 Nov 2013, 7:58am
no mate, i asked my little girls to pick me a number, my 5 year old said number 5 and my 2 year old said number 2 oddly enough!
27 Nov 2013, 7:59am
ive got another 1 for the front but going to let my pal do that who made them so i dont get any air bubles in as it goes over a few curves
5 Dec 2013, 2:51pm
Exhaust on and sounding VERY LOUD! ...video to follow

Rear hub adapters and wheels on but need some spacers for the rear.

And MOT passed with no advisories!

Happy days.

now on with the interior!
