Sorry yes they went like hot cakes didn't get Skippy done ended up at my step daughters fixing a leaking central heating system and a noisey washing machine "while your here" and first day back to work tomorrow I'll see how I feel tomorrow night but the weather is turning "muslim" oo no I mean shite so no rush now....PAT

I was looking forward to seeing Skippy get painted - has that been postponed?

Hi, went back to work Monday after 3 months off was going stir crazy, so haven't done much lately but I've got all my parts now so will set about it this weekend. The paint is being applied over xmas and the new year so early Jan will see her in full technicolour , PAT

OOO yer, if the engine is rough when done I've got a 1500 spitfire engine lurking in the garage, PAT

Engine back together wahoo F*^&%$ng plastic radiators pour in anti freeze mmm taking alot bugger it's coming out the rad where pastic joins ally so original triumph rad is in for repair. oh well at least I know it'll done right, PAT

Squigded in some epoxy. topped up the water and she coughed splutered and burst into life wahooo so now I'll just change the radiator I did notice that the vacum advance pipe was damaged some one of them to get, as the aussies say she was bonza cheers PAT

I really love the enthusiasm this group has ....and the attitude towards the builds , challenges , remedies etc...

I have adopted this low buck , simple attitude to my projects all my life , looking for a cheaper way to create the cars I love ,from my Low Flyer Hot Rod days.......don't laugh , it was about 25 years ago !

Yes ran her last weekend, I'm redoing the radiator, but I've got one serious cold/manflu at the mo and feel like poo but I've just had a devil of a curry from the local takeaway Lizzie told them it was for a cold cure and he siad he'd do a special for that hot hot hot now I'm worried my bum is going to look like the japanese flag in the morning.... PAT

Hi, just a bit of a delay on the paint, now second week of Jan there'll be a truck in for spraying so not enough room for Skippy, back at work and really hit the ground running got a smaller area but more work and trying to get defect list done, cheers PAT

Hi all, considering spraying Skippy myself I was wondering about the temp in my garage how that might affect the paint it won't be two pack it'll be sellyersole, think I'm over the shock of getting back to work after 3 months off and a stinking cold, cheers PAT

If you're going to seriously consider doing it yourself, let me have a dig around in the garage as i'm sure i have an old paint spraying compressor somewhere. If i can find it and it's still working, i'll connector it through the pressure regulator and see if it would be suitable.

If it is working and suitable then you're more than welcome to scrounge it for as long as it takes to Paint Skippy
