Geoff's car is coming along and will be ready for collection soon. Geoff has selected and adapted some very nice items that we are currently installing.
Great use of Carello lenses combined with Lucas chrome trim rings and light bases:
Side markers are expensive, but make all the difference:
Wait a few weeks and the Euro will plunge in value ( thanks to Greece ) and these will seem cheap !
I'm keeping my fingers crossed as we have a family holiday booked in Zakynthos in August. Really not sure what effect the current issues will have on local prices and exchange rates. Hoping it'll be business as usual in the tourist resorts, that there's no rioting in the streets and that Angela Merkel hasn't put her towel on the local cahspoint when we try to draw some money out... ray2:
Geoff's SWB in the MOT bay this evening. A pass after a rebuild of the handbrake system on drivers side. A few more things to finish off and then Geoff will collect on Friday.
Afternoon Nick can give you a wave from the train on the way through Southampton! from London , will be straight up t` north when car picked up , Geoff .
My z3 is topaz blue but I want my swb silver, but now thinking blue so all door shuts/other don't need to be done. Couldn't find a good low mileage silver 3.0i. Still undecided.

Looks great Geoff
eric have you considered using a spray can for the door shuts
If you are going for the classic race car look, the shuts would not have the same attention as the exterior.
In fact Mercedes requested Germany's racing colour was silver so they could save weight by not painting their racers
Could do this of course but might look a bit c**p especially with my skills and would only find out after full body spray by then it would be too late to rectify, thought about just spraying them up black, need to think more about it.
Thinking of asking local spray shop for some advice when body is on.
Afternoon my car is home safe and sound after a 250 mile test drive , a quick word of warning to anybody considering buying a complete car or set of body panels from Tribute , be prepared to be asked what it is when ever you stop and the people who have major head turning moments is fun , must know get the air con sorted or was Saturday the 8th the last good day of summer , Geoff .
