Looks like you are going to be lucky with the weather this weekend.
Not sure wether I can come, but I know some of you guys have got tickets, thats presumably to show off your cars. I am assuming if one is just a member of the public then you just turn up and pay the entrance fee and park with the rest of the public.
Also there is this show in early Sept http://www.doningtonkitcarshow.com/
, should have my hood modified and fitted by then ( not by Marlin I hasten to add ) so would like to attend that one.

Hi Dennis,
yes, I think if you are not exhibiting you can just turn and pay the entrance fee.
The Donnington show used to be one of the best shows when I was choosing my car back in 2002/2003. CKC seem to be putting in a lot of effort to make it a good show this year but it's a 220 mile round trip for me, so not sure I'll be there this year.
Maybe see you Sunday...

What a great day - fab weather, good company. Still think the wooden three wheeler should have won the kit car prize though.
I'll post some pics once I've downloaded them.
Yeah, a great day and a clear run home without a drop of rain.
Now settled down in the front of the tele to celebrate the all the great Olympic achievements.
Great day and three Sportsters at one event. Although the event wan't well publicised there were some interesting cars there. I also got home in the dry - but then I only live 10 minutes away :-)
Outside of Goodwood I have not see so many exotic and rare cars worth millions of pounds. And this event had cars that you would never see at Goodwood!!

and if you like cars then put this event in your diary for 2013.
You will not be disappointed!!
Just a reminder that the Kopp Hill, hillclimb is on again this year on 21st/22nd September. http://www.kophillclimb.org.uk/
Last year it was great show with many rare classic cars and a few new super cars. Its a great day out!!
I'm not yet sure if I'll make it myself but if you've not been before, this is a highly recommended show.
If your not sure, take a look at my pictures from last year...
I said to myself last year after seeing your pics Peter, that I must go to this years event. So I will be there.
Just hope I get the same weather as you.
