Looking nice 'n' shiny.

Is it burgundy or red?

I thought from your earlier post it was going to be a darker burgundy colour, or is that just a trick of the flashgun?

I'd be interested to know the paint code either way...

Oh, and it's interesting to see a Bactrian Sammio for a change.

If you squat down tilt your head to the right and squint a bit "it's nothing like a golf or silver" it's better than a golf and red, nice one done a good job Mel with a little help from im? Pat

Thanks for that, I'd love to see a shot taken in daylight without the flash.

only had 2coats so far, and has gone back inside for a flatten down with 1500,then 3 more coats.....hopefully it get a few shades darker by then.

Looking good and I think the colour's going to look absolutely stunning once it's flatted and polished.

Mine is likely to be only a few shades away from yours as I'm pretty settled on RAL 3032 pearl ruby red. I could be swayed once I've seen yours all polished though...

Nice colour! It looks a lot like mine from the pics, but then again i know how different it can look in real life.
Having fun sanding around the two humps? :)
30 Dec 2011, 7:14pm
Just looked at the pic's again: did you practice on your garage door first to make sure you liked the colour?
30 Dec 2011, 7:54pm

Is the paint lifting from the primer or is the primer coming off too?

It's a shame that it has pulled up. But, better mow than when the job is complete. Best wishes. John
