Going by memory, mine was very low mileage. Something like 34 or 38k. 30 something anyway.

See how long it will last once on the road!

ECU wise. Will make it a lot cheaper if you don't have to go standalone ECU. And drive by wire throttle. Not sure how that works.

I will be using the ECU from my donor, with immobolizer circuit disabled and a rechip

I was not aware the donor ECU could have the immobiliser removed etc when I was doing mine.

So decided to go standalone ECU.

According to a 1.8t specialist website, it should be the following:

AUQ/ARY engine code as fitted to - Audi A3 - Audi TT - Seat Leon Cupra - Skoda Octavia RS - VW Bora 1.8T - VW Golf GTi

K03s turbo?

AUQ at a guess (it's on the head, near the lifting eye by the cam cover).

As John said above. Near cam cover on the inlet side. should be AUQ I would guess.

I ended up going for the QPENG ECU. Wired it on my own. Engine loom - Rover relays and fuse box. And original Marlin loom.

Just going to pick up engine, so will have to see how much it is before i say yes!
