So it was Austin powered..sorry seemed funny at the time.

And Morris Marina door handles, as used in early Landrover Discoveries along with Sherpa Van front and rear lights, so its normal in the motor industry to mix and match parts to reduce costs, my kit has Mini, Landrover, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Jaguar, Saab, Ford, Ferrari and obvously Mazda parts.

Wondering if a fibergass kit of this concept would fit over a rear engined chassis like a robbin hood, locust or westfield?

Love that car but wanted one for a long time friend of a friend had one his dad had the local Renault dealership he could not afford to run it, last time I saw it was in a sorry state corroded alloy mirror mounts etc. and interior looked "Dated" this car is lower and earlier, more like a lotus, and rare as rocking horse droppings, think its the only one in the world.

Going to give these a try [url]www.lepsons.com[/url] as they are closest to me (Gillingham) and will collect for free at the moment, just as well as the wheels are in Doncaster. They also have good customer feedback. The wheels are not for the kit they are for my camper project.

First dry day off in ages been putting this off for too long, rear inner wheel arches to fill in.

Hi tony. There is an easier way. Get hold of a scrap plastic wheel arch liner and cut it too fit. A few screws and its in.
I have done that on all four of my arches. Simple .

I did that with the front, scrap nissan micra arches, but thought it would be better to glass the rear, like Drummajors before Chris took a hammer to them at the BBQ!

Next time I'll use plastic arches front and back as this was a right faff.

Anyway on another note alloys for another vehicle, Lepsons would not refurb them as one has damaged bolt holes, so its down to me. Found someone to make a plug for the holes and someone to tig weld them in. So statred a refurb. Seems daft but the PCD is odd 5x162.?? adapters would require cutting the rear arches of the van. I can not find a picture of a Mercedes 206d fitted with alloys, unless someone else can. These wheels came off a Czech Tatra 4x4 but I doubt their provinence as I have been to the Tatra musium possibly an indian Tata but who knows, they came off a 1972 206d and one down three to go don't look to bad.

i can offer you some constructive comments though -- don't use 3 separate spacers/adapters on the back --that's dangerous , possibly illegal and not good.

They .look like lr defender to me. (5x165) The vast amount of corrosion is straight out of the 90s lr ethos.

He used a heat mouldable plastic bought on ebay.de, I know because I asked him at the BBQ he did a great job, but I have failed to find this material even on ebay.de.
Sadly the wheels are not LR 165x5 they are close to Ford transit 160x5 close but no cigar.
My car has been on the road and in use since May last year and has recently passed its MOT, no issues.
