That rear 3/4 shot No 10 shows the car off really well. Any more photos of the drivers side with the big alloys, they could be an alternative to the vintage wires look.

The Aston almond green will look period and if you want blue then a midnight blue would be stunning.

That does look GOOD. This isn't a criticism, but I can't help wondering if the panel behind the side glass could be filled with a suitable small side glass of similar shape, or maybe flat glass? - perhaps that's the design detail not yet included?

Good tips, midnight blue sounds good. No other side on shots of the allow wheels, you know how cramped it can be there.

I think Ericholme put BMW alloys on his instead of wires and they did look good. Much easier to maintain too. I’m putting powder coated wires on mine for a mix of easy to clean and good looks.

I am using the same wheel and tyre combo as ericholm. Same wheels

What size were they, I'm thinking big alloys for my car too. Possibly staggered 17"or 18" x 8" / 9".

I'll have to look them up when I get home. They are Calibre Classic

Chris sent me a couple more shots with the alloys. As the boys ck has standard suspension, the rear is actually the other front. My car has adjustable suspension( not noticeably harder than std but definitely more sensitive) . The rear is slightly larger

What a super looking car. TBH it's going to take me a while to love that front but I'm looking forward to seeing the finished job. At Stoneleigh obviously.

You need to look beyond that bright blue paint ! Imagine it in a period 1960's colour, the car will look stunning. The bright chrome grill will need to be toned down a bit and with the additional light covers etc, the finished result should be first class !

The price compares very well to genuine chrome or stainless wires if buying new and adding in a set of spline adaptors. They would be a talking point for sure especially in the larger sizes, they go up to 18".

I really like those. I'd still go for the 15's though.

If you are buying wire wheels, etc. from MWS, don't forget to join the JDC first for the discount.

Although I'd always want a convertible, I can't get over how good that rear window looks.

Can't get much better than that for a production windscreen on that car.
