I do have a day job, the thing is while others spend their free moments on FaceBook, Twitter or reading the paper I prefer to dabble a while on the PhotoShop.

Last one for the month. Iso grifo with the Alfa grill. Do like this one as it has the sloping back and similar tail lights to the Alfa. I prefer the one that had the grill without the bar in the middle and the headlights covered slightly at the top.

Ive built many cars, some I have stuck to my original vision and some gained a life of their own through the build.
The ones that start to make themselves always end up better, their curves and form are more natural.

I really liked the shape your first idea was at - the rear screen and boot area you just couldn't have drawn.

You have a group of parts, soon to include a chopped and shortened Mk1 Escort roof. I would mock them up and see where you are, I think it might surprise you.

Think once the lower panels are set and placed the roof line will fall into place. Really like the Maserati gt Sebring roofline. I think the other panels will help finish it off as have a window kit from the Alfa which can be shortened

I wouldn't build the one in the middle, it might get cruelly compared to a shoe box on top of a cornflakes packet styled in Russia.

For any lurkers out there I thought I'd better add that I rather like boxy Italian saloons and will defend their honour if criticised, I have no particular allegiance or animosity towards any kit manufacturer or build agent, and I am really looking forward to seeing project Mxico come together, no matter who builds it. I think it's a brilliant idea.

I love the stance, it would look great black with cromodoro magnesium wheels.

Hmm what about the Alfa Romeo giuletta sprint 1960 with the gtv front grill. Looking at sloped roofs instead of the roof line it has.

I know it's a VERY well trodden path in the kit car world, but I'd be interested in a Z3-based Healey 3000 replica. Slim GRP bumpers could replace the chrome ones, blending the old and new. I'd want the standard Z3 doors retained with no extra skin.

The JWE Thruxton body is available for around a grand and may fit after modification

I were thinking. How bout the Alfa gt with outline of the roof of the escort say from the b pillar back with Alfa windows placed back over it. Bin looking at it from different angles and may fit the bill. Any ideas dsg4me? I know not how to cut and paste and blend.

Saw one of these tooling around Tynemouth the other weekend. Very smooth. Nice understated but recognisable sound as well.

The tuned ones have a side exhaust the gta/m rorty crackle.

This might me worth think about adapting to a stripped Mercedes base. I'm sure you'll have loads of free time soon Chris when every other project is finished!!
