I spotted that too Paul ...was going to ask the same ...Agreed on headlight rings too ...I often paint mine , I think it gives them a different , earlier feel ..takes it away from the Cobra-ness if you like ..
I'm good thanks Phil ...Currently doing a Tribute 250SWB for a customer with a few changes , I'm no expert on those cars but I think we are leaning towards the earlier version , boot mounted fuel cap , 3 slots in the vents rather than 2 ..that sort of thing ...
Also doing some work on a D type for another guy on a heavily modded SE5 chassis , shortened and centre reconstructed to allow a 4.2 to go in ..
I am collecting parts to put a couple of Sammio's together as well .....
Looking at your pics again ...you have really nailed it with that car , mate ...Is that the MG green we painted a few with early on ?
thanks guys just trying the door lines as it breaks it up a bit ...colour is mg 1964 racing green as were i get my paint they lost the paint card for the jag racing green i had ....but i think it looks good ....got the head light rings from lancelot early cars .....lancelot get a car done and pop up to norfolk......
THE DOOR LINE IS A NICE TOUCH PHIL ..IT DOES BREAK UP THE PLAIN SIDES A BIT ...I might have to nick that idea !!
I'm hoping to put a revised version of the Spyder together this year for myself ...work a few ideas in that have been festering away in my head for a while ... If I build it and more importantly keep it long enough ..a trip may be on the cards !!

There is angouther good car show at Baston a few miles away from Maxey which is good too. I think there are details on face book and they have an out of date web site.
