This is a read-only archive of the old Madabout Kitcars forum. New posts and replies are no longer possible, but every thread is still here to browse and read.
I know I have a full set of plans, cut list and build manual.
I think under the bench I have.
Honda CX500 engine+carbs, coils ect.
Complete front suspension, A frames, calipers, disc's, hubs ect.
Honda CX 500 rear swinging arm with shaft, wheel, hub ect.
Has anyone ever managed to get a set of plans from Touchwooden Spoon ? Have been messaging for nearly a year now and no joy with obtaining a set of plans from him. The stock reply is I will only print plans when I have enough interest. Seems an odd way of getting sales. So genuine or not ?
I know that this is an old thread, but the plans are going to be available shortly. They have been scanned and the electronic version is winging its way back to me along with the originals. I have put another thread up about this.
Hello again.Yes, plans available 150 quid all in sent anywhere in the world on a memory stick.Includes all such useful photographs and tips. However there is no plan for the bootlid, scuttle,or nose cone. However apart from the nose cone they are just flat curved panels so shouldn't be we owned the scope of a kick your builder. Not if you make a chassis that is!
There is one thing which is not in the kit (note to self: must add) and that is that you can save loads of time and machining by using the rear part of the bike frame and rear suspension instead of making your own frame.
