Unfortunately I haven't - I had a donor pack from FAb and they don't provide V5's. They don''t get them either as the cars they have are writeoffs...

My donor came from FAB I had to supply the reciepts from them and a letter from BMW with the age of the engine on it. Without both of these you get a Q plate. You will also need to have a MOT done before they will register it.
Send BMW a email "Customer.Information@bmwfin.com" give them the engine number and if you have it the last 7 digits of chassis number(FAB Gave this to me) They will then send you a letter with manufacture & first registered date.

Stuart, what mirrors did you have on for the test? I want to put bullet mirrors on ours but have been told these dont pass.

I had fitted a pair of stainless mirrors supplied through Marlin. I was gonig to sell them on after the test but after fitting bullet mirrors and not being able to see anything behind with them I decided to refit the Marlin supplied ones. So i now have a pair of bullet mirrors up for grabs any offers anyone?

Thanks Stuart :) How much were the ones from Marlin? I see a potential business opportunity - rent a mirror.com

Ouch!! Need to find a set that are not more than 5 or 10 each - will have to have a chat with svc/europaspare etc and see what they have. The bullet mirrors I've got on order are with convex glass so I hope there will be enough rear visibility with those.

I couldnt get the passenger side to show anything usefull not enough movement on the mirror, drivers side was just about useable I only swapped back because of the lack of vision. I do hope your fitting a interior mirror as well as this is required for SVA.
