It does look very nice, I do like the fact that you have gone for the "easy clean" flat wheel hubs rather than the earlier curly hubs.
One small concern is the demister vents on the dash appear to be facing the wrong way. They should direct the air flow up against the windscreen to be effective.
re the vents so far no issues all i have concentrated is getting heat onto the screen no other vents i am not worried about getting air anywhere else nothing worse that a misty screen. The other question re driving with a helmet where do i start. I like period ones with a peak and the two i have now for the D type and the Monza have the internal drop down visors which are really handy and would recommend. Some of the helmets with the external visors do make a lot of wind noise but as i am a 1950's fan for me driving a car that is meant to look from the era must entail wearing a helmet. I have used both cars on the Jersey, Laon, Chantilly railies visits to Le mans many times, Goodwood Breakfast and Revival meets, Silverstone classic so i would say no issues for me. My wife also wears one and dont forget the safety issues on the Monza and D type i have very little screen at least when you get hit by a stone at 70mph i have more protection than a hat.
PS just on my way out in the Monza to the Woolpack Classic car meet in Ashford with me helmet on!!!

Davida do a classic motorcycle helmet, bit pricey though. They also sell a leather lower mask to protect against flying stones, do be careful though, you can end up looking like an extra on a porno film shoot!
How about a leather flying helmet and Biggles goggles?
No not for me 20's,30's or even 40's vehicles fine not for 1950's onwards just does not look right at all. I have warn open faced with a peak with goggles when i drove the wifes 550 Porsche but my problem is i suffer big time with hayfever so my eyes water goggles are a non no. The solution i have by far works the best and does look period. K

thanks for the comment the exhaust is straight through next week the cat comes off ! The exhaust was installed and made by Rich Nubodi's guy who does get a cracking sound from these, better than anyone else i have heard.

Lovely just what I want!!! to be fair Richards is exactly that and sounds superb the guys doing mine set it up so you can unlock the four wing nuts and refit the cat if you ever want so good to go.
Kev have you had your grill surround chromed yet? Mines in at the moment - not the silver nitrate spray but Chrome sputtering (done in a vacuum with plasma fired through argon so electrons hit a real piece of chrome which releases molecules that coat the surround so it's actually chrome plated - or something like that! Bonkers looking massive machine). Place is in Basildon - I'll post up pics when it's done
