You have to put [IMG] just before the http and [/IMG] after jpeg delete anything else

It might be worth making any door pull line up with original bolt holes. On mine the leather pull strap is bolted to a mounting point inside the original door. It keeps everything nice and strong at the stress points

I would rather put the handle where it looks better and was intending to put a couple of rivnuts in the steel door skin. I was not intending to bolt just to the panel. Be patient and wait till its finished. I appreciate all the helpful comments but it slows it down if I have to keep saying what I will be doing out of sequence. 1/ Open a (free) account at [url]www.photobucket.com[/url]

2/ Upload pictures from your computer/phone/tablet to photobucket.

3/ Click on the picture you want to add to your post on here. Once it opens, you'll see four boxes to the right of the image under a heading 'share this photo?' Click on the bottom one labelled 'IMG' and the word 'copied' will flash temporarily.

4/ Go back to this forum (you should have photobucket open in a separate window) and put the cursor where you want the picture in your post. Right click your mouse and select 'paste' from the drop down menu. The image code will appear and that will change to the image being displayed when you click 'submit reply'.

The image will appear in the thread so long as you still have it stored on photobucket. Just be aware that if anyone clicks on the image it will take them to your photobucket account so they can view any images you have stored there, so it's probably best to avoid naked selfies...

It seems that you've copied the URL for the Photobucket page rather than the image tag for the photo. Open up Photobucket and select the photo you want. To the right hand side there'll be a box named 'share his' or similar, copy the text which starts [img] etc etc, return to this site, open a dialogue in the usual way and paste the link.

You could create a private folder in Photobucket for your naked selfies. That's what I do ;-)

When I clicked on the photo in photobucket there is a 'Share' button, then 'Get Links'. If you click on that there are 4 options. I copied the IMG link (for forums and board), and pasted it below:

Here's the dashboard we constructed for The TVR Tuscan based 250 GTO that we built for Alex Jovey:

We will be producing a similar Z3 dash shell in GRP, as per my SWB that went to Germany. I will see if I can find some more pictures.....

The creases came out after ironing thankfully. I cut the material into four and laid the panel on top of the underneath of the Leatherette. I do not glue the outer skin to the foam as it stops you getting lumps and having to pull off and re-position. Also when you do up the door furniture it pulls the outer skin tight and gives that luxury soft panel look on high end cars.

Spray the two longest straight edges with contact adhesive. Once tacky, fold the skin inwards and pull tight. A top tip is to use duct tape to keep it from moving when it’s drying.

When you get to the corners you have to cut triangles to allow the skin to go around. The tighter the bend, the thinner the triangles. It takes a bit of practice but it does not matter if its not perfect as no one will see this side once its fitted.

From the inside of the panel cut from diagonal corners into each corner. Then fold the flaps inwards, glue and tape down

This is the front of the panel. Next I sprayed the knob on the winder satin black to mimic the original.

The bolts were attached to the door pocket and then bolted with Nylok nuts on the reverse side

The finished panel ready for fitting. The handle bolts through to the door skin so is just balanced on there to show the position but the pocket and the winder are bolted on. The winder can turn. I know the usual place for a pocket is lower down but I wanted to hide the giveaway Z3 door pull which will be now inside the pocket. The winder is not as nice as the one going on my personal car but it’s adequate. Next is fitting and lining up on the door.

Just totted up the total cost of one panel and its a reasonable £54. I appreciate people jumping in with pictures of interiors but I will be doing the whole interior on here. It may be more appropriate to wait for the section that relates to the photos instead of a jumble of random photos. I apologise to the more experienced builders as to the slow methodical approach but some people have never attempted this before so please be patient. Thanks

Oh by the way I have a total target budget of £400 for the interior transformation which is a tenth as much as some have spent...I should look okay for the money too.
