I finally managed to get the measurements (sorry for the delay but this week has been madness at work!!!)
The distance between holes is around 4,5inches. See picture.

Hello everyone,
No much done on the car in this period due to job overloading. I spend most of the free time surfing lon the web looking for new rubbers for my new wheels set. What I tought to be a good idea is turning in a real challenge😱😱😱. 17 inches tyres choise it is quite narrow and most of the suitable ones have a 75mh max speed limit!!!! If any one has suggestions please feel free to drop a few lines. For the time being research continues!!!!
I don't know much about 2CVs, but I didn't think they could actually reach 75, so they could be suitable. Paul.

A good 2CV will touch and sometimes hold 80MPH
I once touched 100MPH on my way to Bristol DVLA offices in a Lomax 223 and just to prove a point I did the same on the way back, although I did lose a O/S front fender due to exciding the design speed !!
Speed confirmed on a sat-nav as the speedo was "off the scale"
I can also recall being stop by the law doing quote "over 80MPH" in what (if I remember correctly) was the same car.
The police officer words were something like "do you know how stupid I feel chasing some idiot in a 3 wheeler at over 80MPH!!".
Yes, I was wearing the obligatory leather flying helmet, goggles and white silk scarf, a meter of which was blowing in the slip-stream!!
After a fearful look only a traffic copper man can manage he spoke again saying "if I see this on YOU-TUBE, I'll hunt you down and hang you". .
He then returned to his patrol car and drove off, just left me sitting there!!
The trick to going fast in a 2cv/Dyane is accepting the crazy lean angles, driving smoothly and carrying all the speed you can muster through the bends. Simply great brakes help enormously too.
As for 17" tyre choices, you could do worse than speaking to Longstone tyres -
They have a fair selection and have been in the business a long time.
Oh, and Micky, it sounds like your traffic cop used some good, old fashioned discretion in dealing with your bonkers 80+mph careening around in a Lomax. Mind you, I'd have probably given you the ticket...
During these dark days (in any means) I prefered to stay indoor and to clean few engine parts...in the main time new (???) seat arrived!! They need a good clean too
Hi to everyone,
after a couple of years without do much on the project I came to the decision to sell it. The new house, family and the work loading does not leave me much time to dedicate to it.
The sale includes:
- the sammio body shell
- Diane 6 chassis (with V5 - currently on SORN)
- 4 2cv rims
- 2 driveshafts
- 2cv manx fiberglass shell (which was originally purchased to be used as frame for the sammio)

Hi , I have received a few enquiries concerning the sale asking if I was interested to sale the sammio body only.
With a reasonable offer I can let the sammio body go.
And since I posted my last message I have for sale even the following:
- 4 wire wheels (41/2 j 48 spoke - MGA or early Austin Healey), hubs and spinners
-Triumph steel frame to be used with the sammio body
