Got some questions to you guys! Started to fit my kit and this is what I get:
So my question is what should be the reference point for me? Something that always has to be in certain place to get everything aligned? I gues that this point should be the front. where the radiator mounts. Should it be like this or rather I should aligne some other point?
The last picture you have posted is the correct location at the bulkhead. Make sure the back edge of the new GRP front wing is parallel withthe door shut. You will need to modify the slam panel area once you have the front in the correct position.
The rear end will hang from the windscreen frame as the mk1 does, then trim back the panel behind the door until it sits right.
All done by my localy here in Poland. As for the pictures, no problem.
Got one question, you can see in the photos that the rear lid is getting a bit curved, the sides are going up, what could be happening with it? There is no tension on it.

You may need to bond a brace on the underside of the boot skin. I will post a picture of an example tomorrow for you.
