Excellent colour. Really looking forward to seeing the complete vehicle.

That's all planed for later when I come to repair the damage I do re-fitting the doors, bonnet etc :doh:

Micky - That blue looks great. :cool:

I also like the way the boot lid works with the humps.

Will the boot lid hinge or be fastened into place?

The problem is the curves on the boot lid which make the hinge line a real problem.
I think I will just hold it in place with a few stainless steel button head screws as it's only going to carry the space saver spare and a jack :eusa_think:

Great colour choice Mickey, one of my favorite shades of Blue.

Maybe some ivory shaded roundals, rather than the bright white ones.And 50 s styled numbers would look the part.

Knowing the condition of our G46 as it came out of the mould, full marks to your preparation paint guy, he has certainly made of beautiful job not my choice of colour but it looks the doggies do dars.

I think it confirms that the G46 looks great in the darker colours?

I like these decals



Should look nice over the blue but maybe as mikmiglia says toned down to "old English white" :thumb:

last time I was in miglias factory he had a couple sat there and ribble must supply them as well. so I guess the answer must you can get them from miglia or ribble!
hope that helps or were you trying to get these guys who do this for a living to give up their sources? :icon_biggrin:

I have the "modified" Navigator and the BMW powered Pilot.
I was told the original grills were supplied with the Sammio kits but not with the Ribble kits hence the question?
Are the grills avaliable, if so how much??:razz:

That said I am looking at the new chrome "shopping trolly" grill

There's a thought, pop down to the nearest canal with a grille opening sized template and a pair of snips, fish out the most recently dumped shopping trolley and snip yourself a shiny chrome grille! Every little helps...

Painter's work has been slow so he's getting on with the rest of my G-46.
Doors now painted

And the bonnet is now in primer.

The paint brings out the curves well me thinks :smile:
