looks amazing!!!! Id be worried about those arches though Dave
9 May 2013, 8:57pm
It looks worse than it is. I cut away quite a lot inside the arch area from the original rear wings. The tyre sits inside the new arch. The picture looks like the wheel is closer to the edge than it is. Plus ive hardened the suspension up so there is not much movement :)

Great stance Dave. The car looks really period in black, I will be posting pictures of Ken's black car soon.

Good job Dave. Black really suits the shape too. Love the wheels and the stance.

Aaaagh! now I want to paint mine black, and I want it to be a hard top, mayby next project.

Thanks for the comments. Hammy the grilles are from CBS. I cut them in so that they sit flush and bonded them from behind.

Lots of cutting back to do yet. Nearlly finished with the 800 grit. Then its the 1500 then the 2000 then two grades of cutting paste. I will have shoulders like arnie when im done:)

Sanding til the Doctor comes

Really looking forward to the 29th and seeing all the various build stages. Back to work tomorrow and gutted knowing how slowly my progress will be from here. Still Ive achieved my aim and its on the road

Looks like you can see light at the end of the tunnel though.

Yeah slowly. Need to buff the paint now with paste. Got to say it looks better in the photographs than it does in real life :)

Have a question.
What tail lights are these from?
The chrome rings look great, I like that.
Where I can get such rings for our Land Rover lights?
A source where I can buy that would make me happy.
