Erm, quite possibly. No offence Gary, but does the Sammio brand really need a badge? My view is that we should either keep people guessing as to just what it is, or, if you're like me, lie through your teeth and put Lancia badges all over it.
just being picky, i like the last iteration but shouldnt the letter S be in the font that the website uses to keep the branding theme going? Rocket something isnt it?

I guess the brief should say use Rocket script then, but as there wasn't one and I am sure I have seen a van with a typeface from a cartoon as well. Anyway it was just an idea, like T said do what you like.
I agree with Towed. However I feel a 'Sammio Owners and Builders Club Badge' would be good.-----Lol-------- However we're not a club but just a group of people with different levels of creative ability, facilities and budgets using the same fibreglass shell that enables us to create our own version of motoring heaven. In my opinion I think we badge as we think befits our own vehicle.
Other bodyshells and badged anoraks available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started ranting in my head before i got to the LOL
Bearing in mind that we're all quite keen to be "not a club" here's an interesting spin for this thread. How about we have 'not a badge' ?
Let me elaborate (before you all think i've been at the scrumpy too much again) i quite like some of the badges shown and not some of the others, so can't we come up with a badge in the essence of what big GaryJ started with these kits? i.e. something 'core' but something we can adapt to our personal tastes?
For example, taking something like the round "S" badge GaryH shows below, but having a neutral coloured and non-background one that we can all colour/mount/adapt/chop-n-bond however we want?
Mmmm Mr. T,
I think there may well be a few "finished" G46's about, but finished may be the operative word. Ha, ha.
Why don't we just all get ourselves a marker pen and apply our own?.....................Ok, OK, only joking. Think I have to agree, the badge decision is as individual as the cars we are all building/have built. Therefore the decision to badge or not is ultimately down to personal taste, after all there is the "can you guess what it is yet?" Spyder with large lettering over the rear arch, so the choice is down to the individual.
Well I'm sure there will be a finished G46 one day soon - which will eat the Spyder for breakfast..
I think the concept of a badge is a good idea as it would pay tribute to Gary's original idea and give recognition to both him, his family, and the 'team'.
I was going to wait until they had been produced but I've settled on a corporate badge. I've started using it on ad banners at Donington and will post a picture when our overalls are completed within a week ;-)

No connection to this link just found it when I was looking for badges for my build
Any graphics colour as you request and a fair price.
As promised, here's a couple of photos of the 'official' Sammio Motor Car Company logo which had its first outing at Goodwood Revival this weekend. The Glamcabs girls seem to like it!
I have a local company who has already digitised it and can apply an embroidered badge as seen on the front of my overalls:
with whatever name you choose running through it (Could be your name or the model of car you drive) for £5.00 and an heat transfer applied Sammio logo (12" diameter) for the back for £15.00. If you have a garment you would like to have adorned, I can arrange this and will only charge for postage back to you. Alternatively, PM me and we can find the right overalls for you, have them delivered here and sent to you when complete. Turn around time is in the order of 1 week dependant on where we are in the queue. More details will be available on the web site soon. I am also exploring options for 'solid' logos for grille/bonnet, steering wheel and wheel centres and even key rings.
