What's in your emergency kit?

Have any Sammio types not been in the forces or Cadets? :)

Im also an ex spacey and then VR(T) type. When no.2 some came along 3 years back, I jacked it all in to spend some time looking after my own kids rather than baby sitting other peoples! I always promised myself that if/when I finally quit the ATC I would build myself a kit car and so here I am, typing this after just getting back in from a blat and smelling mildly of petrol, oil and exhaust fumes :)

And I got away without encountering any leeches, so I count that as a result! :)

I've added a few new bits-n-bobs as a result of recent experiences:

  • A can of tyre repair mousse
  • A rubber hammer (for the wheel spinners)
  • 1 flat blade and 1 Phillips screw drivers
  • An adjustable spanner
  • Some pipe clips
  • A roll of self amalgamating tape
  • A bottle of lead additive for the petrol
  • A selection of cable ties
    ---NEW---
  • A bottle of water for refilling the cooling system
  • A Jack!
  • A Microfibre cloth for "bailing out"
  • A pair of proper flying goggles, as rain hitting your face at 50mph hurts!

Ha Ha! I love it. The level of accuracy in the ejection seat would suggest that it was made by someone who's worked on military fast jets.
