Ideas for the next sammio.
I wonder if Gary could squeeze this old engine I have sat behind my shed into the next sammio?
Might work in a Transit chassis, but could possibly need a bigger gearbox.

Hmm, a couple of bonnet scoops for clearance and a splined adaptor soldered onto the Herald gearbox input shaft and you're away!

Or you could slip it under the driver's seat to provide powered fore and aft adjustment.
Because it was on Ebay.....
The missus was quite understanding given the circumstances!
(I have also got a spare herald engine & gearbox behind the shed too.....)

Unfortunately not currently a runner. last known operating was in the 70's. It is what you might call a 'long term project'. (Or retirement project.)
They do use them in tractor pulling in Europe. Surely it would fit in a G46 with double humps?
