Yes, I've very aggressively lowered my car, its the look I wanted. To be honest the 13's almost fill the arch anyway, so the 14's along with the fact they will be sticking further out from the middle of car with the hub adapters should look very good indeed. *Hopefully*
Cheer up Trev at least you know that when you pick it up you have all the fun of adding the finishing touches.
And the couple of weeks break allows you to think of it as a car again and not just that project you have been working on :}
Im looking forward to seeing the pics -
Next years get together is looking like a must - all those sSammios in the same place
When do you pick up the car?
The only reason I'm asking is i wanted to know if you'll be taking it to the Exeter show and if so what day are you going to be there? I'll then try and get down on the same day (with or without mine)
I now collect the car in 9 days time, a week Sat. Sadly I won't be able to take it to Exeter as that's only 2 weeks after and I've still got a fair bit to complete. I have booked the week off following collection to try and cram as much in as possible though.
Looks like yours should be on the road by then!
Let me know what day you're going and I will head down there too.
Trevors car has finally had all its fillerwork / gapping etc done.
The photo doesn't show it well but its all done.
I took the car over to Bodycare in Wimborne to get the paint done.
pics below of car on trailer just round the corner and then looking like a pedal car in the Bodycare doorway !!
Car will be primed tomorrow and flatted out Friday....I will try and get over there for a primer pic...
it's going to look superb matey! Watching the progress on yours certainly shows up the differences between a professional job to my Heath Robinson paint job.
