Road legal... exceptionally twitchy.... and now it's time to make it handle / grip...
A day of grinding, welding, painting, and bolting.... and voila, the back end is almost back together. It's staggering how much time and effort it takes, even when you know your way around the car!
All is now done, except the rear anti roll bar, for which I'm waiting on mounting blocks.
The rear bar is fairly weak, so fitting it won't have as great an impact as the front anti roll bar, which has quite simply transformed the car - it grips like nothing I've ever driven before, and is now driving like I hoped it would when I first bought the kit! It's fun!
My friend took a very short video last night - nothing especially interesting, but it does at least show the car is back on the road [at last]! Excuse the downshifts - I'm trying to learn to match the revs, but I'm struggling with this car and the immediacy of the controls!
