have not had it on yet as motor not up and running right think there will be some mods it all up in the air as don,t no any one who has fitted mikuni carbs just got to work round the probs.......

they 14 in x 5.5 wide mgb 72 spoke comp wheels ..as for tyre can not think .....std 14s i have a look for you ..towed will no cheers phil

I think yours are the same size as mine Phil - 175/80/14.

I've got Uniroyal Rainexpert radials on standard MGB 4.5x14 60 spoke wires bought cheap and rusty from ebay, and refurbished by me.

As the wheels came from ebay -

175/80/14 on the left compared to 175/70/14 I started with -

Perfect size for the car imho -

silver or black wheels they all look good...

towed have now got motor to run few ajustments to make and all be well .... i tell why it would not start carbs have to run facing up 20 degrees with fuel pressure 3 psi car run for 1/2 hour no probs be out soon..............

Were did you get the stick on number plate with a silver border, ive contacted a few online companies but they don't do a plate with a border.

just get to set it up now then lets get back out on them roads norfolk here we come................

got the car out for a run sunday had a prob with new 2600 motor put rong oil cooler on that had shit it it and run num 6 shell, all back now going well carbs working good lots of power paint and running in set up too do......

car runs in o/d top 60 mph 1/12 thousand revs ...have not gone over 3000 rpm but seen 80 feels fast loads torque

What brake set up is fitted to your car Phil.

I bet the engine feels awsome when on the power, pulls like a train.
