Planning a Tribute Build

Adaptors for the original wipers made and fitted, flush bonnet pins have come and are fitted but need some adjustment.

Hi, these are M8 24mm stud connectors from GMT supplies on ebay, ground to a taper then fitted with stud bar, mine sit lower so you will need 40mm as used by our German friend.

Wipers and bonnet pins fitted and working.

New look front with Indian hinges, the cheaper of the two types had them anyway a ordered by mistake, and not quite the same profile of Morris Minor hinges but now fitted.

Bonnet pin mounting brackets and bonnet stay fitted.

Note holes cut to access hinges also wiper adapters fixed with thread lock.

Wiper access cover fitted and sealed no more hot air in the cabin, (hopefully) had to run the AC on the way to Dorset!

New number plate lights fitted, as the LED ones were too white.

Quiet month back on it now nose badge recess cut in.

Been recomended Upol Dolphin Glaze its a brushable stopper, just ordered some for final filling/sand before paint.

Rewired the back no more modern LED's just old fashioned bulbs.

Leave it without paint, adds a certain patina and will save loads of time and money :blabla: :blabla:

Ditched the Upol Top Stop, now using this Upol Dolphin Glaze it's better, booked the kit in for a full SS quad exhaust next week £425 from Longlife, made and fitted by Havair in Hastings.
