Agree from asthetic perspective but sorry thay are staying, heated and electrically adjustable, right size, right colour and comfortable for longish french trips!

I do know what you mean but my drivers seat has a hole in it so something will have to be done. I was intending to swap the heating pads over. I'm not too worried about the new seat not being electric, I'm not letting the wife drive it so it will only need adjusting once.

Jag - Please do a thread on your seat and transfer of heat pads.

I want to do similar but need heated seats for the frosty morning trips :-)

I was simply going to peel off the heat pads from the original seats and fit them to the replacement seats.

Try mine in Laon - only thing missing from list is heated part - they're on the original electric runners. I think the cheaper buckets are definitely not comfortable for long trips but these are really comfortable - honest lol.

They really look nice, problem I had when fitting the Rover 75 ones was it lifted the whole height so my eye line was the top of the windscreen, therefore I was having duck down to see out, these look a slimmer profile on the base.

Some detailing

Hi all,

Really trying to make use of the lighter nights, managed to get some Campagnolo detailing on the spinners, and added 2 rear number lights, as per original, inspired by Nubodi's No.7.

I was initially reluctant to put them on but when I saw No.7 I was sold so drilled away! Heres some pictures

Brackets have arrived.....yay!

I have had some smaller brackets fabricated (Lazer cut and machine polished as they will be very prominently placed) for the front screen, they have arrived today, They give me alot of play for the final fitment with elongated slots, so have now removed gap under screen and have kept the correct angle. Here are some pictures of the brackets with CAD diagram and tomorrow the drilling/final fit will commence.

Looks like a snug fit against the bonnet. Not bad work from a cardboard template !

I commend the expert metal craftsman who built it from that flimsy bit of cardboard!

I committed to the screen and drilled away and fixed it, it looks great and is a subtle addition to the car at some angles you dont see it, but at other angles it 'pops' out

Theres a little bit of daylight coming under the middle part, but hardly noticable, overall its around 90% flush to surface.

Out and about - a glorious weekend!

Hi all,

If I'd known you were going to Malvern I would have come and said hello, I'm only 2 miles from the show ground. The Mrs had dragged me out to a National trust place so didn't go this time !

Oh no! Last minute decison on my part, had a good run 100 miles each way and nothing fell off, that I know of atleast!

Great detail what an impressive car

Good to see some footage of the car driving ...Its great to see static images of our cars , but you can't beat watching them actually driving ... I should imagine you got plenty of looks on your journey ...

Sounds really rorty when you rev it! Quite surprised by how different your sounds to mine with essentially the same type of exhaust mod - my MAF is snafu so unplugged at the mo. wonder if it's anything to do with that?

Like it, like it, like it, well done its a great example and i like your attention to detail. Seeing what can be achieved is an inspiration for anybody contemplating building a 250 swb rep.

You will never get tired of hearing that exhaust note.

Hi,

MPG worked out around 28 on the run (motorways mainly, cruising 70ish). However due to 'Rorting' the gauge moved much more quickly towards empty than my wallet appreciates

Tunnels and wide bridges are the best, with built up towns with narrow streets coming in a close second...

Couple of nice long tunnels on the top section of the M25!
