Ericholm 250 SWB Build thread

Sorry but not keen. I think the paintwork is just too good to put numbers on, ok on an old racer but not on a pristine grand tourer.
Interior looks great. Well, the interior looks great apart from the seats. Why don't you buy MrToads Rover seats from him? I could help you out by taking your old seats from you, I know, I'm just nice like that :eusa_shifty:

Hi, yes thought numbers might split opinion, also part of greater plan and they are easily removed.

regarding rover seats, 'been there and done that' see: http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/forum/showthread.php?p=69567#post69567 sorry sticking with Originals...:icon_lol:

Worth a go! The sports seats you have look so much better than the boring basic ones that I have.

Beautiful car indeed.

I prefer without the numbers but hey each person is different. Love the interior and wheels too.

So prefer these recreations without the Beemer roll bars

And the pics are wicked - especially the first one.

Nice to know the numbers come off, not really a racing car...

I like them a lot :peace: but then again, i would!...

Are you not tempted to put them on the front and back too?

The hard top 250 SWB is more for the road / track look rather than the convertible. By all means make a race car replica from a coupe but not the convertible unless you have plans for it ? Would be nice to see this car at Prescott or Shelsey Walsh on or off the track !

It got a lot of attention? It should as it is damn fine !

Well done that man

ericholm - Hi Andy, your car looks great.

Although, initially, I thought the font choice for your numbers looked a little odd.

But as I plan to use Barry Sheene's motorcycle #7 on mine, I was hardly going to mention it.

However, while searching through the original SWB 250 thread earlier I spotted this photo and it all made sense. :D

Are you planning to add a similar stripe too?

Cheers, Paul. :)

Yep that's right, they are vinyl so can so can be easily removed at any point for whatever reason :eusa_dance:

There is something about the artificial light in this photo that makes it look real/old.
( If that makes sense. )
