Yes still waiting a car (navigator tk001) but no news about how it's going on...

Pam,
Just made a call on your behalf to Mike who I think you have already talked to. The car is currently awaiting a few parts from Andy but as long as they arrive it is envisaged it will be MOT'd within the next 10 days and will then be shipped back to Andy for final fit.

This is a shame . seems to be a recurring problem with this little car and its custodians and imitators. Hopefully Mick1mo can turn this around or this could be not good.

Nicely put PJ, I do intend to "put-thing-right" but I am not in control for a few weeks so I can only do my best with what I have and what I know :ear:

Several "customers" have contacted me with various problems one guy wanted to place an order but it's all out of my hands for now., but watch this space. :becky:

Today I cleared all the good stuff out of RIBBLE HQ and the door was locked behind me :icon_cry:

SAMMIO/RIBBLE will go quite for a while but watch this space :pop2:

Good luck to all involved in the new venture, and my best wishes to Andy and Andy junior.

I've never quite understood this car. I can understand why young lads like Corsas with body kits. I can understand why someone might want a Cobra, and can certainly understand a Sammio. But I cannot imagine anyone falling for a Colani. Is there anyone out there to educate me as to its charm?

You are not alone in your thoughts. I could not believe anyone would think this was worth investing time & money in. Better to have spent time improving the Sammio range in my opinion as they are more desirable.

I can see the appeal of a beach buggy or a 356 based on the Beetle but I can't find anywhere in heart for the Colani.

There doesn't seem to be much of a following for this model. I thought that Andy may had more success with it, but I suppose it would be a nightmare to drive 1. LHD and 2. a lot lower than the Sammio.

Also was there not a problem with engine or electrics on this one.
