Pops - Glad to hear you were at least able to drive it a short distance.

Hope all goes well with the sale and I look forward to seeing a video or some photos if you get the chance.

Good luck, Paul. :)

A change of heart.
Im going to finish this build 100% and get the summer months out of it.
If its registered and insured UK and its over on holiday I can get my 90 days EU cover out of it, then sell it after at least a few days of fun..
Wheel hub adapters - ordered
Brake Switch - ordered
Fuel sender - Ordered
Horn - Ordered
K and N Filters - Ordered
Car now complete, Fit new tyres to MG spokes and we are ready to roll why didnt I do this earlier????
17 May 2019, 12:22pm
Number plates - I forgot to order them!
Whats the deal with the black and silver stick on plates legal or not?
17 May 2019, 5:33pm
Yes, stick on black and silver or black and white 'plates' are perfectly legal on tax-exempt cars.

Good decision to finish it and enjoy it. Probably the sale price will more than compensate for the cost and effort to make it an on the road car.

Loving that grill ! !!
What's it made from?
18 May 2019, 5:03pm
The grill is from a Chrysler 300c, cut down and sprayed satin black except for leading edge which stayed chrome effect. Sides blanked off with aluminium sheet

Pops - Enjoy your 90 days of summer driving.

Looking forward to seeing your 'On the Road' photos with the wire wheels.

Good luck, Paul. :)

For Sale

I managed to get car rolling and have enjoyed a few outings this summer.
The attention its gains and the positive comments have indeed made the whole process worthwhile.
However we are now going to have to part ways as I have just too many projects on the go. The toughest part is deciding the value.
So if anyone on my side of the pond is interested please get in touch.. Pops

Happy enough with the sale, rock bottom price but these are strange times and COVID 19 dealt a hand in limiting my market from here..

Stewart, understand the problems of being in France 2 years ago I had to sell my late Brothers "Edge Devil" unfinished project form mid France, but amazingly a guy he had met at Exeter kit car show years before turned up and is now happily building it. It is his second!

My build is actually nearing completion now 8+ years on, finishing trim and dash etc, so near......
all the best Mike.. will there be a next project??

One day I hope, but for the time being I’m mid renovation of my house and starting a new business so time is scarce. With the restrictions on registering over here I guess the next project will be a classic resto rather than rebody

Psycho pops – Hi Stewart,

Glad to hear you had a chance to enjoy driving your car before the sale.

As it did look very nice.

Take care, Paul. :)
