Looks that good, I have serviced the motor home already this morning In anticipation of the trip to stoneleigh, not been to the show for 26 years and the last time I went it snowed!! Now if only I had a cheque book.

When I saw this earlier in the week , it was looking like a tall order to get it ready. I shouldn't have doubted you both.

This car re-style will do very well in my opinion , its a natural.

Once again , when you first conceived the idea , I wasn't sure at all , but it really does work.

Good luck this weekend , although I somehow doubt if you will need luck to sell these.

Hi Chris - just wanted to say that having seen you at Stoneleigh on Monday, was really impressed with the finish of the car (Z3 Kobra) the car compares really very well with the more authentic reproductions and really appears to deliver on the promise of being a viable daily driver. Great job - really well done.

The pair of Kobras looked awesome Chris/Dan/Richard. A right winner!! Well done guys

After you have had a chance to put your feet up for a bit can I ask a favour?

Could you post some info & more photos of how the boot lid works on your "white one"?

I am coming to the conclusion that a removable panel might be easier than something with hinges for my own build.

Although I'm not sure I understand how the two sets of locating pins can work at different angles?

Is there some wiggle room so you can push the rear of the boot lid "in" & the top of it "down" at the same time?

I hope that makes sense, as I am probably just being a bit "thick".

Troubles in Belgium

The president of our club (works for the Belgian MOT) has visited your stand at the show last week. He told me that it would be a problem for the Belgian MOT if the bonnet was made of polyester. Could you take a picture from the inside of the bonnet especially the steel frame.
Still very interested in the Kobra!

Hi Paul.

The bottom pushes onto the 2 pins first and then you "hinge" the lid down onto the other pair of pins. I hope this helps.

Hi Walter, I am bonding the steel hinge and latch plates into 2 bonnets this coming week so will post some pictures up. I am sure we can overcome your MOT problem with some modifications.

Called in for some cat food at "Pets R Us" the other day in my daily driver and found this unconverted version in the car park, couldn't resist a photo session. Theirs was a bit cleaner than mine.

Nice to see before and after together.

hi, I have only just joined the forum but loved kit cars for years and have only just got back into visiting the shows, I have followed the build on here and loved every minute of it.Just got to convince the wife to allow me to ..get one one!
As I said at the show (stonleigh) this is the best thing you can do to a z3 ......

ok now I confess after following this build it wonder how hard it would be to make a........on maybe a z3 or z4?
