Many moons ago a pal of mine used to race a GT6 in what was then the TSSC race series. It was fitted with a similar arrangement. Two things stick in my mind from that time (30 years ago!)

The engine looked very, very cool :-)
It did 2 (yes 2) miles to the gallon

He changed back to twin SU's after a few races lol.....

well got round to fixing the damage to the bonnet big split in the pas/ wing, which also shocked and split the scoop

rub down then it be green by next week .....

had a nice run in barry's car to day... go's great paint to finish [green] then back on road

all back green ....
