Morning everyone, like T has said not much going on the forum at the moment. For me, I have to paint hallway... So I may get time later on in the week, if I can pull myself away from Homes under the hammer and the like. Better get on as I haven't done much!

Still nothing done, still painting... Crap weather, too cold to spray parts. I have managed to get a replacement head for £20.



I may have put this pic up before, but i like all the stickers etc... and makes black look more interesting.

Love the shape of the rear lights, but wouldn't that tiny steering wheel make it a bit twitchy?

A bit twitchy? No sure if you could even get your knees under the wheel to find out!

Now come on Gary, I sprayed a boat in the workshop last night and it was only 5 degrees. So, no excuses now.

Bloody paint, still not dry!!

Ok, the painting i am doing is indoors... but this should free up lots of weekends in the summer to make lowered floorpans, bulkhead and a rolling chassis. Then when the body goes on, i am going to adjust all wheel arches to suit. A boot and vents everywhere... and i might get another headrest, but only use half the height (wife not as tall).

And i may still cut sides down a bit.



Is this a no. plate light pointing at filler?

Big air intake - fitting a gas turbine?

Yes, the ultimate bulge... Its my new spraybooth as it gets too windy on the drive. I'm starting actually finish small parts to put on chassis. Thanks to micky, i now have a wiring loom with dash (previously owned by WCA). need to order some more nuts n' bolts from Canley, and new lowered springs.

Hi Gary, are you not going to have a go at cutting down the donor springs first? It's worked for most people so far.

Here we go, two minutes with the old angle grinder and, hey presto, free shortened springs.



And I know I didn't get them both quite the same length, but it's going to be awesome on a banked, left hand circuit.

Cables do 330lb springs that 1"shorter, I would like to try 280lb and 1" shorter.

i put some more parts together today, so i need to get the chassis painted and finish spraying wheels, so i can get tyres. Another order to Canleys tomorrow...

Looking nice! Refurbing parts was one of the most satisfying things i have done on my Navigator so far. What colour are you doing the chassis?
