By way of closure to the UK Vanessa story, she is now in the South of France and has been decorated somewhat along with fitment of a set of 14" MGB Wire Wheels. I was sorry to see her go but with plans for 2014 season I wanted to clear the decks and now know she will live out her days in the sun.
Hi Paul,
We are aiming to have a 'rotating' pair of demonstrators for next year. Each time we're out we intend taking a different pair (Probably the most advanced turnkey in the line up) along with the new breed which, hopefully by Stoneleigh, will be at least in Prototype form on the new Jag engined chassis.
I just had an email from the new owner of number 56 who is changing the brookland screens for the original wrap around. Hopefully he'll send me some photos when it's done.
There will be some photos on the way soon with turnkeys. The Pilot is currently in the paint shop and will be coming out in Red RAL 3020 then as soon as that comes out the next one goes in (Probably to be finished in Cream). We've also got a Spitfire donor chassis in the blast bay which will be coming out in Gloss Black Powder coat.
At the moment the workshop is full of dust as we're prepping (and de-humping) two shells to head to Lyon.
Not us unfortunately. It's the Two Pilot CV shells that are being shipped there for a customer. Strange thing at the moment is that I reckon 80% of our business now heads over to France!

I will be very interested to see you customer because I live also near Lyon. It should be very interesting to discuss with him.
Gents, We are looking to expand the ways in which a customer can buy a Ribble Navigator kit to supplement the basic kit and the turnkey cars, also helping those without bearing presses and other facilities. To this end, we are trialling an 'in between' option whereby a 'Get you Started' kit can be ordered which includes:
All suspension parts blasted and powder coated, replaced where necessary
Rolling chassis fully assembled with NEW bushes, trunnions, bearings, nuts and bolts
NEW front and rear Brake calipers, discs, cylinders, adjusters, drums, pads and shoes
Navigator Frame fitted with floors welded in place
1500 Overdrive engine mounted with new mounting rubbers
We currently have, in stock, the first set of Spitfire donor parts being assembled and a shell is being fabricated next week so lead time will be shorter than usual. If anyone feels this is the way they would like to go, please email me and I'll go through the costing along with any other options (Bonding body in place, Engine etc.)
May be a hint to the 'other half' that Xmas isn't too far away would be in order
