Car owner feedback for Type 35
I didn't build the car, but bought it recently. Any information about the model will be gratefully recieved!
Owner Karl Massey has added that it took 101 hours over 0 months to build at a cost of £9,210.
The finished car is stunning. The build quality depends purely on the builder's paitence, skill and time taken to finish the aluminium panels and interior. The 'kit' can be as basic as you wish to make a really individual car. The handling is not grand prix standard on marina suspension but does give a genuine antique feel. Overall, I love it!
Owner Bob Barrett has added that it took 500 hours over 18 months to build at a cost of £12,000.
Built in 1985 by my father and myself ours was chasis 13 I believe. We were one of the first few for sure. The company was owned by a different owner then. The chasis was superbe, but the kit was no more than just a body and chasis. there was a lot of personal details that had to be done and for sure this was not for the inexperienced. It was a lot of work but was a great project. Cars look great when complete. We doubled our investment.
Owner Mark Ames has added that it took 300 hours over 12 months to build at a cost of £2,400.
