Very good car ,punches well above its weight and a joy to own. It costs little to run and has a bullit proof engine and running gear with low to no cost in maintainence.

My dad and i throughly enjoyed building the blackjack avion as it was a well designed kit which came with clear & easy instructions to build, all parts and body work were made to a high quality standard. The finished car has great handeling, positive steering, the power to weight ratio is quite good for a 602cc engine, best described as 'nippy'. The avion handles like a normal car, there is NO 'roll' like a 2cv because there is a anti roll bar fitted to the to front suspention arms, the 2cv engine is a great donor engine for the avion, its nice and simple to work on, and reliable, no unnecessary crap to go wrong! - a great cornish kit car! Id recomend building a Blackjack Avion to anyone.

The kit was first class in both design and finish, in view of this it did not require a great deal of technical ability to complete the project. As with all kit cars patience is a major requirment. The availability of spare engines and gear boxes opened up many avenues for tuning and improvements. 'A great project' and a most satisfing and exhilarating drive
