Car owner feedback for Jester
I haven't finished but I have fitted the cvh engine not the ohc. Am I the only one to do so?
Owner David Clarke has added that it took 100 hours over 36 months to build at a cost of £3,000.
Solid little beast, not blisterringly fast (only a 1.3XFlow in mine) but a lot of fun. Built before the build manual was available and with no prior kit car experience, so couldn't have been that tricky, (although looking back on it the end result is a little tatty and could do with some tidying). Cost includes two engines/gearboxes, pioneer cd system, tsw alloys, cobra seats, could probably have saved 1.5k by leaving out the niceties.
Owner Matthew Whitton has added that it took 200 hours over 6 months to build at a cost of £5,000.
Very strong body and chassis. Build could be a lot easier with some mods to the design. Sidescreens fit where they touch. My car is electric so costs include very expensive motor, motor controller and batteries. I would like to obtain 'gliders', anbody prepared to build them?
Owner Steve Green has added that it took 600 hours over 6 months to build at a cost of £9,000.
