Car owner feedback for Vortx RT+
Ok if you want a bike powered car as car is designed around this basis, but will take a car engine as i did but many difficultys and hurdles too cross with new IVA rules
Owner Kris Mcgough has added that it took 400 hours over 60 months to build at a cost of £23,000.
I've built an RT+ with an R1 engine, it uses cortina uprights and sierra rear end. The car was very straightforward to build, and I'm an IT person. Any issues that I did come across were swiftly dealt with by Chris and Marc. The quality of the chassis is superb and the GRP is of really high quality. The drive is like nothing I'm used to, it's very planted and handles like a gokart, when the back end does start to step out I find it's very progressive, ideal for someone that's been comforted by 4WD and fancy electricery. Details of my build can be found on my website: http://vortx.chockymonster.co.uk Anyone wanting further information can contact me through it too.
