Car owner feedback for Madgwick Roadster
I bought the comprehensive package from Madgwick (but sourced the engine myself). The kit went together logically and I had fantastic support from Dave and Mike at Madgwick Cars. Great fun to drive, handles very well (better than my previous kits) and the car easily accommodates me at 6'4' tall. Build manual was a bit light on detail but this wasn't too much of an issue as I got great technical help over the phone.
Owner Graham Myatt has added that it took 300 hours over 30 months to build at a cost of £12,000.
Good design, one of the first to buy a kit so I experienced some problems. Madgwick are always on hand to assist though and these were rectified. Build manual needs some work but this is compensated a bit by good support. Nearing completion for SVA test will update when this is complete/
Owner Peter Bailey has added that it took 150 hours over 15 months to build at a cost of £9,500.
